DAY 01: HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE

06:30 – 07:00 – Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Sapa by comfortable air-conditioned bus

10:00 – Short break along the highway to Lao Cai

01:00 PM – Arrive in Sapa town. Be welcomed by the vibrant culture and colorful traditional costumes of the H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic groups
Enjoy a welcome drink and tour briefing, followed by lunch at a local restaurant

02:30 PM – Begin a scenic trek downhill to Cat Cat Village, located in Muong Hoa Valley

• Enjoy stunning views of the valley and Fansipan – the highest peak in Indochina

• Visit traditional stilt houses of the Black H’mong people

• Observe local daily life such as weaving and handicrafts

• Stop at the picturesque Cat Cat Waterfall – perfect for photos

05:00 PM – Return to Sapa town

Evening – Dinner at a local restaurant and free time to explore Sapa town or night market

Overnight in Sapa hotel

DAY 02: SAPA – Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN – HANOI

(Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

08:00 AM – Breakfast at the hotel

09:00 AM – Start trekking through the breathtaking Muong Hoa Valley

• Visit Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong

• Continue through stunning rice terraces to Lao Chai village

• Experience authentic local life and culture

11:30 AM – Arrive at Ta Van village, home to the Tay ethnic minority, known for its unique cultural influences

Return to Sapa by vehicle

02:30 PM – Free time to relax and refresh in Sapa

03:15 PM – Depart for Hanoi

09:15 PM – Arrive in Hanoi. End of the tour

• On Day 2, if you prefer not to join the long trek (Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van), our tour leader will be happy to suggest alternative activities.

• The trekking distance is approximately 9 km, which may be challenging, especially in rainy conditions
  👉 Not recommended for elderly travelers

• This trek is not suitable for children under 6 years old or guests with mobility limitations

WHAT TO BRING

• Warm clothes, scarf, hat, or cap as Sapa weather can be unpredictable

• It can be quite cold from September to March, especially during winter months

• Due to Sapa’s altitude, fog is common between December and March

• Recommended items:

  • Trekking shoes

  • Sunglasses & sunscreen

  • Insect repellent

• Please bring cash in Vietnamese Dong (VND), as banking services in Sapa can occasionally be limited
